Does advertising salary attract more candidates?

Every word in your job advertisement is important. After all you are aiming to appeal to your ideal candidate, using words that excites them and gets them to say “that’s me – I will apply.”

It is in your best interests to attract as much talent as you can, and to figure out how to write a job description that speaks to that talent. But for some, things become complicated when it comes to listing the salary. There can be benefits of listing the salary range:

Listing the salary range has become far less common, even though most businesses have an idea of how much they are willing to pay. Most jobs simply put a placeholder, like “salary based on experience” and some put nothing at all. But there may be benefits to listing the salary on your job advertisement,
